The Sydney Ice Dogs are pleased to announce the return of star forward Grant Toulmin to his third year in the AIHL.
The native of Langley, British Columbia is excited to be back in the Ice Dogs lineup. “I couldn’t be happier, i’ve been waiting all summer to get going again. We’ve got a great core of guys here and have added some really good talent. We’re expecting really big things this season and are ready to get back to the postseason.”
Toulmin began his journey with the Ice Dogs in 2016, posting an impressive 31 points (15 goals, 16 assists) in 21 regular season games and ranking second in Ice Dogs goals, third in assists, and third in overall points.
His skill hasn’t gone unnoticed by the newly introduced Ice Dogs head coach Andrew Petrie who stated “since taking over the role at the Ice Dogs there have been a few things to get excited about and being able to work with a guy like Grant is definitely among them. He’s an exceptional player who has proven his value in the league already and since meeting him I can see he brings definite leadership and a lot of positivity to the group.”
Grant Toulmin and the Dogs hit the ice on April 21st at Macquarie Ice Rink against the Newcastle Northstars. Memberships will go on sale this Wednesday. |
