The Sydney Ice Dogs are excited to announce that forward Strat Allen will be returning to the club for a fifth consecutive year.

The Toronto, Ontario native has collected 36 goals and 38 assists for 74 points in 67 games over the span of four seasons with the Ice Dogs and led the team in goals scored and points amassed at the end of both the 2015 and 2016 seasons.

"It's been quite the journey with the Dogs the past four seasons. The club has come a long way since I've been in the AIHL and we've been building each year to put ourselves in contention. We've got the right group to get it done this year and I'm excited to be a part of it” said Allen.

With a young presence at the heart of the team this year including Ellesse Carini, Aiden Sillato, James Marino, Kale Costa and Daniel Pataky, Allen believes the “young Aussie core and new group of imports will put us amongst the top talent in the league."
